DAVID LINDSAY PROTHEROE
(1936 - * )
I was born in Brynsadler, towards the end of 1936. My Parents were,
Edward Caradoc Protheroe & Elizabeth (Libba) Williams, who were married in January 1934.
I was Christened over my Grandfathers (David Williams) Coffin in 1937.

I attended the Pontyclun Primary School from 1941 to 1951
I then attended Bridgend Technical College from 1951 to 1953
In 1953, I was Employed by the Post Office Telephones in 1953 until 1992,
with a two year break (1955 - 1957) when I did my National Service with
The Royal Signals at Catterick Camp, Yorkshire, and then Herford in Germany.
I retired in 1992 from British Telecom after 39 years Service at the age of 55.
